Kelsi & Matt

Hello and happy Friday! Last weekend I had the privilege of photographing Kelsi and Matt's wedding. It was a beautiful and perfect day!

The ceremony was held at St. Francis Xavier, followed by the reception at Hayfields Country Club.

We began the day at Hayfields, where both the ladies and the men got ready.

I first met Kelsi and Matt at our engagement session last winter. I knew a little bit about Kelsi because I remember reading her name in the paper back in her NDP days, she's a lax star! If you've read my blogs before, you probably know that I also went to NDP, so I always love photographing a fellow Blazer!

After NDP, Kelsi continued on to Georgetown, while Matt graduated from Gilman and left for Chapel Hill to UNC. Both Kelsi and Matt played lacrosse in college, they're quite the power couple!

I loved hearing their love story and how they met (which was NOT in Baltimore, but Texas of all places!)

Their wedding was such a blast! The room was filled with so many friends and family, there was so much love and laughter in the room. I thoroughly enjoyed documenting this wedding!

The band was rocking and had this crew on the dance floor right out of the gate! Mr. Bozel and his brothers even had the crowd dancing while they got on the mic!

The speeches were so incredibly sweet...even I teared up a bit. From start to finish, this was a great wedding and a wonderful kickoff to my fall season!
