LINDSAY & GREG

Hello and happy 4th of July week! I didn't think I'd have enough time to blog this wedding before the 4th, but once I started pulling a few images to share, I couldn't stop!

I had the privilege of photographing Lindsay and Greg's gorgeous Baltimore Country Club wedding last weekend. It was a hot day, but a perfect day!

Throughout a wedding, it's pretty standard to see me smiling behind the lens most of the day. Occasionally, there are moments throughout a wedding that even make me cry. This is not as common to see, but this particular wedding was one of those occasions. I don't know if it was seeing Mr. Ercole (Lindsay's Dad) tear up throughout the day, seeing Lindsay's sweet Grandmother beaming at all of the special women in her life, the bond between Lindsay and her sister, Greg's Dad's speech at the rehearsal dinner, or Father Mike's homily during their mass. I guess it was a combination of everything (and possibly a bit of heat exhaustion too! ; ) All I know for sure is that there were a few times throughout the weekend that really struck a cord within me. It was a good reminder of how fortunate I am to have built a business that allows me to partake in such a happy and special time in the lives of others. I am so grateful for the opportunity and the trust to document these beautiful moments.

Something else that stood out to me about this wedding was the number of "first looks"...I believe there were four, and I loved every single one of them! Lindsay was certainly a sight for sore eyes in her dress, and Greg was quite the handsome groom! Greg and the guys were good sports throughout the portrait session. I know posing for photos in 100 degree weather in a tux is not fun! Luckily, my second shooter, Mike Keller is efficient and quick with his portraits, thank you Mikey!

Lindsay and Greg are such a sweet couple, and now that I've gotten to know their families a little better, that comes as no surprise. I first met Lindsay and Greg last summer at our engagement session. Like many couples, they told me they didnt love having their picture taken. And again, like most couples, Lindsay and Greg were way better than they thought! They were a pleasure to photograph back then and once again on the big day (even in the extreme heat!) This wedding was so beautiful and flowed perfectly, I believe we were slightly ahead of schedule throughout the day (thanks to Pam and Jen and the whole Elizabeth Bailey and BCC team!)

I could go on and on, but I won't. because I know everyone just wants to see photos...so let's get to it!

Lindsay and Greg, thank you for allowing me to document your beautiful wedding, it was an honor! I wish you all the best!! XO
