HOLLIE & ZACH

Good afternoon and happy summer! Today's blog post might look like I photographed a destination wedding, but I was actually only about an hour from home on the Chesapeake Bay. Hollie and Zach were married on June 14th at Herrington on the Bay. It was my first time photographing a wedding at this beautiful waterfront venue, and it certainly did not disappoint! The ceremony took place outside, followed by a reception inside the yacht club. It was a beautiful day with blue skies, light wind and a perfect temperature around 75 degrees.

I first met with Hollie and Zach, along with Hollie's parents, back in February of 2018, so it was so nice to reunite with all of them! I especially enjoyed hearing the sweet speeches from Hollie's Dad and MOH. Zach's brother and best man speech also made me smile (and laugh... I love a good roast/toast).
