EMILY & AVERY
Hi Everyone and happy Tuesday! I wanted to start this blog post by saying how much I love all of my 2018 couples! I've never photographed a couple that I didn't adore....and it's not just the bride and groom, but their families and the whole bridal party too! This weekend's wedding was a nice reminder of that...how fortunate I am to have this career that I love. Photographing such a happy and special day in people's lives is not only an honor, but a pleasure.
With that being said, let me tell you a little about our bride, Emily. I coached Emily's JV lacrosse team at Notre Dame Prep (Go Blazers!) back in 2005! I adored Emily back then, and am now in awe of the wonderful woman (and Harvard grad) she has become! I had the privilege of meeting Avery back in March. Needless to say, he is such a polite and handsome guy, a perfect match for Emily! Avery hails from Rye, New York, and while he and Emily now live in Manhattan, they decided to get married in Emily's hometown here in Baltimore.
Both the ladies and gentlemen got ready at the Four Seasons where I photographed each party separately. From there, the ceremony was held at Loyola Chapel, followed by a reception up the street at the Evergreen Museum and Library . I've photographed weddings in both venues before, and they never disappoint! The ceremony and reception went off without a hitch, and once again....the dance floor was on fire!! : )
I also photographed cocktail hour of the rehearsal dinner the night before. The celebration took place at Ampersea, a waterfront restaurant located in historic Fells Point. I don't usually include those images in the blog, but they're complete, so why not? So, let's get right to it!

And now, on to the big day!!
