KASEY & PETE

Hi Everyone!

Welcome back to the blog! After a long winter, I'm so excited to be photographing so many beautiful summer weddings...and Kasey and Pete's was no exception!

I first met Kasey and Pete last summer at Kasey's parents gorgeous farmhouse in Baltimore County, on a day similar to their wedding day, bright and sunny! We chatted about how they met and how long they'd been dating! Kasey was definitely what I consider to be a "low maintenance" bride. She had ideas and opinions about the day, but was leaving the photography portion up to me...in other words, a pleasure to work with! ; )

As for Pete, he couldn't wait to discuss wedding photography and all the potential photo opportunities the day would hold.....bahaha! Like most grooms, Pete was just along for the picture ride, and did whatever his wife and the photographers asked of him....thanks Pete! :)

The wedding ceremony took place outside under a tent at Kasey's parents home. The officiant was Kasey's Godfather and friend, Chris Horich (whose wedding I photographed almost four years ago). It was his first time as an officiant, but what a natural....wow!

The reception took place at Greenspring Valley Hunt Club, walking distance from the ceremony location. Some guests walked, while the bridal party cruised over in a few of the club's golf carts...meep meep!

The reception was a BLAST! Kasey and Pete, along with their family and friends were a joy to photograph...and pretty entertaining too! I was smiling and laughing behind the lens most of the night! Without further ado, lets get to the photos!
