KELLY & MATT

Hello and thank you for visiting the blog, I'm super excited to share these images with you! It's actually taken me most of the week to decide which shots to post because I love so many of them! I decided to begin by sharing my thought of these two after our meeting in January. Here goes...my hope is that everyone in this world has the privilege of experiencing a significant other who looks at them, the way these two look at each other. When I met with Kelly and Matt in the winter to discuss details, Matt was so sweet as he told me the story of how he asked Kelly to marry him. Seeing his face light up really warmed my heart during our post blizzard meeting. Seeing that face light up yet again as he first saw his bride was a photographers dream! Ahh, I just love this,...take a peek at Kelly and Matt's first look!

Before the first look, Lauren Watley (my second shooter) met Matt and the guys at Elkridge Club for some group photos. The grounds at Elkridge are beautiful, and as always, Lauren did a great job capturing the dashing groom and his groomsmen.

Lauren got some parent and flowers girl shots as well!

Matt's Dad was also the best man. He said he doesn't like giving speeches, but of course he gave a GREAT one!

While Lauren was at Elkridge, I was with Kelly and the ladies at the Cashen home. Kelly kept the details of her beautiful dress a secret, so I love these faces as they see Kelly in her dress for the first time!

After the first look, we got moving on our portraits. Even though it was one of the hottest days of the summer, the bridal party and family were so patient with us-thanks guys!

Love this shot of Kelly and her Dad! Mr. Cashen has four beautiful daughters, but he admitted in his speech...Kelly is his favorite! LOL ; )

Time to head to the ceremony at the beautiful Marikle Chapel at the College of Notre Dame!

Before we show our party pics, let's first take a look at some of the beautiful details! Mrs. Cashen, MOB is as crafty as they come! I told her last summer at Meghan's wedding and I'll say it again, she needs to go into business, or start an Etsy shop!

So many sweet and sincere speeches!

May I just say, Kelly and Matt's band, Onyx was off the chains!! They were SO fun and really knew how to get the party rocking...not that it's tough with this group!; ) It was a real dance party!!

I'd like to wrap up by saying thank you again to Kelly and Matt for allowing us to document your wedding. It was an honor and a pleasure getting to know you both! The day was prefect from start to finish. I'd like to give a shout out to Kelley Baker and her team at Elkridge for making the reception such a success. When referring to her wedding day professionals, our bride Kelly said "I have the dream team"! While I have to agree, I also have to compliment Kelly. She's not only beautiful and sweet, but also extremely organized. Thanks Kel!
