SARAH & TREY
Hello and thank you for visiting the blog, we've got a good one for ya today!
Sarah and Trey's wedding was especially memorable for me, as I've know Sarah and her family for many years! I first met our bride when she was probably about 8 years old. Sarah's sister Meghan has been one of my closest friends for over 20 years! Sarah was a 6th grader when Meg and I were seniors at Notre Dame Prep. It seems like just yesterday we'd see Sarah and her little buddies in the cafeteria, barely able to fill out their saddle shoes! : ) When she and Trey contacted me last summer asking me to be the photographer for their wedding, I was honored!
Let's all just take a moment to admire our stunning bride....

I arrived at Sarah's parents house to get some detail shots before the ceremony. And may I just say, these details... the dresses, the jewelry, the flowers, the invitations, everything, it was the definition of class and elegance. I just love the beauty of timeless wedding details.

Lauren Watley, my second shooter, captured these gorgeous ballroom images....I love them!

Beautiful ring inside a beautiful succulent...wow!

Lauren was especially in love with the bouquets! Radebaugh's Florist always delivers perfection!

The ladies were dressed to impress, from the getting ready robes to the gorgeous bridesmaid gowns.

Lauren met Trey and the boys at the hotel for some pre-ceremony photos!

The boys were looking real sharp in those tuxes, YOWZA!

I love this one of the boys strutting across Light St.

This crew and their selfie game....strong! #Gonefisher did not disappoint!

I always love when the Father of the Bride first sees his daughter, it's one of my favorite moments of the day!

The ceremony was held at one of my personal favorites, St. Ignatius Church, where I was also married!

After the ceremony, we hopped in the trolley and headed towards the reception venue, which was held at Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel. We took the family, bridal party and Bride and Groom portraits across the street from the hotel. I really love this bridal party, they were SO fun and easy to photograph!

This crew was ready to PARTY!! Before the real shenanigans began, there were so many sweet moments that took place. The speeches were great, especially Sarah's Dad! Mr. Q gave the most heartfelt speech, I think he made everyone cry... including me!

The gorgeous sister of the bride, and one of my BFF's, Meghan...hi Meg!

I think that sometimes the groom and his mother get overshadowed by the bride and her father on the big day, so I'd like to take a moment to highlight some special shots of Trey with his Mother.

And now on to the P-A-R-T-Y!! This guy was feeling it on that sax....yay buddy!!

CONGRATULATIONS again to Sarah and Trey, it was a pleasure to photograph your wedding. Lauren and I loved documenting your big day and sharing in the laughter and love. I think your Priest said it best, we witnessed a real blessing on June 25, 2016...CHEERS!
Love,
Lauren and Lauren
