MARION & MATT

On Saturday, I had the privilege of photographing Matt and Marion's wedding. After weeks of rain and clouds, the day started off beautiful! However, the clouds and rain rolled in about 90 minutes before the start of the outdoor ceremony. Needless to say, we had to relocate. The ceremony was moved to the tented patio of the Fell's Point Waterfront Kitchen. Despite the rain, Matt and Marion had a wonderful day and didn't let a few clouds and rain upset them. The rain actually made for a gorgeous sky and sunset! Marion's sister made a beautiful toast referencing how the storm was a perfect metaphor for marriage. In life and in marriage, sometimes our grand plans don't go as expected, but we have to pick ourselves up, roll with the punches and move forward, in spite of the obstacles. After all, the ebbs and flows of marriage and of life are what make it so special!
