WHO WILL BE TAKING THE PHOTOS AT MY WEDDING?

Me, Lauren Daue!

However, if you chose to add a second shooter to your collection, one of the talented photographers I work with will be shooting along with me.

Typically, the second shooter will photograph the groom and the groomsmen in the "before" photos, then we will both be at the ceremony and reception shooting from different angles. If you're undecided about whether or not to hire a second shooter, I'm happy to discuss that with you.

ARE WE ABLE TO MEET YOU BEFORE WE SIGN CONTRACT?

Absolutely, its one of my favorite parts of the process! I love to build trust and friendship with my couples! Choosing your wedding photographer is a big decision. Your wedding photos are one of the only tangible items you will take away from your wedding and pass down for generations! It's a decision that should not be rushed. If you know you'd like to book LDP before meeting, of course that's great! However, I will still set up a time to meet with you to discuss details.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

Its tough to say an exact number, as it depends on the number of shooters and hours covered. No matter what, you can be sure that your day will be well documented.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Sure! As of now, I've shot only in the mid atlantic area, however I'd be more than happy to travel.  Fees will apply for areas that are 20 miles outside of the 21204 zip code. If it's a destination wedding, airfare and hotels would need to be covered.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUSTOMIZE A COLLECTION THAT IS MORE SPECIFIC FOR US?

Definitely! The collections I've listed will give you an idea of my price range and the services I offer. Collections start at $3,5000.

I realize that every couple and wedding is unique, so I'm happy to customize a collection that will better suit your needs.

SHOULD WE DO A FIRST LOOK?

I get asked this question a lot, and my answer is always the same…it's completely up to you! I'm sure relatives and friends will have their opinions on this topic, but keep in mind that a lot of thought, time and money has gone into planning this day, so it's your choice to decide. Whether it's walking down the aisle, or at a set location before the ceremony, it's all good.

However, as a photographer, I will tell you I do love when a couple decides to have a first look. Its nice to complete many of the "formal photos" before the ceremony, especially if you're the couple telling me "We don't want to miss our cocktail hour". A first look is also nice if you're the couple who is slightly anxious and/or not looking forward to being the center of attention. A first look is a nice opportunity to get the butterflies under control. I'm happy to further discuss this topic with you.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL YOU NEED FOR FORMAL PHOTOS?

This depends on a few details of the day. Whether you have 300 guests, 50, or somewhere in between, the time needed for formal photos will vary. This is also something that we would discuss in person.

CAN I GIVE YOU A SHOT LIST

Sure, a shot list is very helpful when it comes to formal photos! About two months before your wedding, I will send you a questionnaire that will help you with this process.

After our initial conversation, I hope you will realize that I'm here for you throughout this process! I try my best to respond to all of my couples in a timely manner. That being said, you're more than welcome to contact me to answer any questions along the way. It's my pleasure to work with you from start to finish!
